Greenwich Picturehouse, London

    Greenwich Picturehouse, London

We held a private  screening with 150 people attending at

The Greenwich  Picturehouse, London on the 14th Jan 2024

    Q&A

A 15 minute Q&A after the screening  where the

audience got to ask questions from the cast and crew,

    Reception

The film was really  well recieved.   People connected to the film on a personal and emotional level, and shared their own experiences of accentism. The film ignited a spark to discuss discrimination based on accents.

It's superb in every way, from the script to the characters, the acting, filming, the poignancy, the humour. The pain of trying to fit in, especially as a child

Frances Oakley, Teacher & Linguist, British.

A huge topic to tackle and an incredible way to do it. You can just tell that everyone in the team is so committed.

    Luke Smith, Train driver/GTR ,English.

This film should be seen by everyone who has ever question their identity as an immigrant

    Isabel Margason, Doctor, South American

I wanted to re-iterate how thought provoking and necessary your short film is. Really glad I got to catch it & so excited for your upcoming project

    Nims Kaur, Actor, South Asian.
